Fortnitemares: When Does Jack Skellington Arrive In Fortnite?

This year's Fortnitemares sparks the return of some seasonal favorites, from the Pumpkin Launcher and Witch Broom to the return of Horde Rush. As part of the celebrations, players will be able to nab themselves some special skins from iconic Halloween-themed properties, including The Nightmare Before Christmas' Jack Skellington.

The Pumpkin King himself will be heading to the Fortnite Island as part of a new cosmetics collection, which includes the Jack Skellington Outfit and a number of additional themed items up for grabs. But, if you've logged into Fortnite following the Fortnitemares update, you'll have noticed that Jack Skellington isn't currently available in the Item Shop. So, when is he set to arrive?

Jack Skellington Fortnite Release Date

As part of the Fortnitemares 2023 patch notes, Epic Games has confirmed that Jack Skellington will be arriving in a Fortnite later on in the Fortnitemares event. Fortnitemares 2023 will run until November 3 at 2AM ET, so expect the skin to be available before then.

As for an exact release date, Epic Games has yet to confirm one. However, known leakers @ShiinaBR, @SpushFNBR, and @notpaloleaks claim that the skin is set to arrive in the Item Shop on October 23, at 8 PM ET.

Fortnitemates Jack Skellington All Cosmetic Items, Price

Players will be able to purchase the Jack Skellington Outfit from the Item Shop, which includes the Santa Jack alt Style. The Jack's Scary Face Emote will also be built into the Outfit.

An additional “Pumpkin King” Set of items will also be available, which includes

• Zero Back Bling
• Peppermint Parasol Pickaxe
• Jack's Sled Glider
• Lock, Shock and Barrel's Tub Emote

At the time of writing, it's unclear how much the Jack Skellington Outfit and "Pumpkin King" Set bundle will cost. However, they will likely be similar to the price of previous pop culture collaborations. Players should expect the skin to cost around 1,200 V-Bucks, and more for the full bundle. Jack Skellington won't be the only chartacter arriving this Fortnitemares. Halloween's Michael Myers will also be available as an Outfit in the Item Shop.
