Vaulted Sky Games

Hunters have a variety of perks and abilities to help them fight off Ghosts, and one that comes in handy quite often is Gadgets. These let you put up a fight against Ghosts by causing damage to them, healing your own teammates, detecting enemies, and more. Here are all of the Hunter Gadgets available in Midnight Ghost Hunt, as well as what they do and which ones are best.

All Hunter Gadgets

Radar

The Radar is the most basic, and perhaps most useful, Hunter Gadget in the game. It shows you where Ghosts are through Ectoplasmic activity, giving you an idea of where you need to look to find them.

Spectrophone

Similar to the Radar, the Spectrophone tracks Ghosts. This tool, though, does it by showing you what direction the Ghost is in.

Pathfinder

The Pathfinder shows you Ghostly footprints, which can lead you directly to Ghosts.

Vacuum

The Vaccuum is another basic tool that lets you vaccuum up ghosts to prevent them from respawning at midnight.

Trap

The Trap can stop Ghosts in their tracks, preventing them from moving for a while and allowing you to more easily attack.

Grenade

The Grenade is effectively a weapon more than it is a Gadget. When thrown, it deals a good bit of damage to Ghosts but is then used up.

Defibrillator

The Defibrillator is one of the base gadgets. It allows you to revive Hunters who have been taken down by Ghosts. It's a useful Gadget, but it takes some time to use, putting you at risk of attack if you're not careful.

Grappling Hook

The Grappling Hook lets you get around more efficiently, moving quickly across spans of space either across or up/down. This is a great gadget for Hunters since efficient Ghosts tend to move from item to item quickly, and Hunters normally can't keep up; this will help you do so.

C4

C4 explosives latch on to props and Ghosts alike, dealing massive amounts of damage when they detonate.

What's The Best Hunter Gadget?

You'll probably find yourself using the basic gadgets, such as the Defibrillator, Radar, and Vaccuum, most often, since they prove to be necessary for core gameplay. However, there are some other Gadgets that you might consider bringing along for other purposes.

The Grappling Hook is arguably the best way (and sometimes the only way) in the game to catch up with highly effective Ghosts. The C4 and Grenade, on the other hand, are quick and efficent ways to deal lots of damage to your opponents.

It's a good idea to try out various Hunter Gadgets in different games to get a feel for which ones you like the most.
