Street Fighter 6 DLC Fighter Announced, Releases This Month

The newest addition to Street Fighter 6 officially has a release date, and it's sooner than you might think. 

Rashid of the Turbulent Wind will launch in Street Fighter 6 on July 24 for owners of the Year 1 Character Pass, which you will automatically have if you have the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of the game.

You'll be able to pick up emotes and gear relating to the character through a Fighting Pass specifically tailored to the character, titled 'Rashid Arrives!'. He'll be available in both Fighting Ground and World Tour mode, where you can study his moves and give them to your own character. 

As the first character in the first wave of Street Fighter 6 DLC, you can expect Rashid to be followed up by the following characters:

• A.K.I
• Ed
• Akuma

It's likely that Capcom will also release a second wave of characters judging by the way that other fighting games such as Mortal Kombat do DLC drops, but so far we don't know who will be part of that pass.
