Eldest Souls has a released date of 29th July 2021. The game will release simultaneously on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch consoles. 

What's the story of Eldest Souls?

Players will take on the role of a lone warrior, as mankind's only hope against "a great Desolation" which was released upon the world of Eldest Souls by the Old Gods.

The warrior players control is armed with a greatsword…of the purest Obsydian, as they will need to survive their journey into the Citadel.

You see, the premise of Eldest Souls is that, following centuries of servitude, mankind rebelled against the Old Gods, and imprisoned them within the Citadel. The Old Gods, however, unleashed that "great Desolation" and it is now up to you to stop it. 

While the story of Eldest Souls feels a bit vague, that's exactly how Soulsborne fans like it, and we will need to explore the game in order to learn more, from environmental storytelling to completing quests for NPCs, and more.

Eldest Souls is described as a "unique Boss-Rush soulslike experience". The short translation is: the gameplay is brutally difficult yet rewarding.

Players will be able to enjoy any type of character build they want. The gameplay looks fast-paced yet measured, and as a "boss rush" type of ARPG, it's all about taking down the Old Gods.

Players will encounter NPCs along the way to complete "compelling questlines" and solve mysteries, all while dodging environmental dangers, taking down enemies, and gathering the loot they need to survive.

Just like the Soulsborne games created by From Software, you should expect to die over and over again!

If you plan on playing Eldest Souls on PC, then we've got some good news to share. As you might have ascertained from the game's graphics, it won't require a monster PC to play.
