ARK Survival Ascended Oasis Biome Cave Location in Scorched Earth

The launch of the Scorched Earth DLC has spurred many players to return to ARK Survival Ascended, eager to explore the new map teeming with diverse biomes, including lava rivers, lakes, ruins, and a unique Oasis biome.

However, locating this lush and hospitable Oasis biome amidst the harsh environment and perilous dinos of Scorched Earth can be challenging. To assist you in discovering this verdant haven, we'll provide precise guidance on finding the Oasis biome in ARK Survival Ascended Scorched Earth.

ARK Survival Ascended Oasis Biome Cave Location | Scorched Earth

The Oasis biome is a large cave system that runs underneath a section of the Scorched Earth map and is an ideal place for any survivor to call home if they can reach it without dying (more on why later). This cave system offers large open areas for tames and base building, and even a large freshwater supply to raise aquatic tames and use for your survival.

So to reach it, you're first going to want to head over to the Red Obelisk on the map which can quite easily be spotted from wherever you are on the map, but for reference, it's on the southern side of the map. Once here, you'll spot a body of water that leads in the southerly direction as well, and you'll want to follow this until the water dips into a rocky opening.

It's here where you need to prepare for some survival as you're going to need to swim for quite some time to reach the Oasis, so be sure you have a large oxygen supply, oxygen rejuvenating items, or an oxygen tank and mask to make the trip. Keep swimming through the water and heading through the water canal as it naturally curves (if you can't see that well in the water, disable the Volumetric fog using the tips provided here).

Once you can see, just follow the canal and use the crystals to guide your way there, eventually, you will reach a spot to resurface from the water, and it's just a small walk past some shrubbery to reach the inner Oasis cave. Here, as we mentioned, you can easily fit plenty of dinos to raise, a base for your operations that's out of sight from other players in PvP, or raise your army of aquatic dinos.
