Sharkmob's battle royale game Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt features a number of different clans and archetypes from the Vampire: The Masquerade franchise.

Players can choose their own archetype to choose the best gameplay experience for them, so it's important to know about each class and what it does in order to optimize your play and pick the most ideal character for your preferences.

Here's everything you need to know about the Saboteur class, their powers, and how to play them.

According to the in-game description, the Saboteur archetype is a trapping and sneaking class and is part of the Nosferatu clan.

"Shifting through the Shadows, the Saboteur utilizes defensive contraptions to punish reckless enemies," the in-game description reads.

As such, to make the best of this class' powers, players should ensure that they adopt a stealthy strategy and think keenly about the battlefield as they play.

This is definitely a class intended for somewhat more experienced players since it's a highly strategic role.

Every archetype in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt comes with three distinct powers that enhance their intended gameplay style. With seven archetypes total, the gameplay is truly diverse.

The following powers belong to the Saboteur class:

  • Clan Skill: Vanish - Become invisible and move rapidly for a brief duration.
  • Passive Skill: Unseen Passage - Turn semi-invisible when crouching.

Archetype Skill: Sewer Bomb - Throw a bomb that explodes and releases toxic gas when approached by enemies.

The Saboteur's skills primarily focus around sneaking around the map and then, as the Saboteur's name implies, sabotaging your enemies. Clan skills and archetype skills require some effort to activate, unlike your passive skill, so you won't necessarily be undetectable all the time.

Still, Vanish and Unseen Passage both allow the player some stealth, and Sewer Bomb is a fun attack that makes that hiding worthwhile. The toxic gas that erupts from the bomb can pose a serious problem for foes.

That's all the important information you need to know about the Saboteur class in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt and how to best play them.
