Black Ops Cold War Season 1 Reloaded update is here, and amongst many other new features, it comes with the brand new melee weapon, Wakizashi sword.

Wakizashi sword is a personal defence weapon and companion sword to the samurai’s katana.

This blade is forged in a traditional way and it uses two special types of steel, which makes it lightweight and resilient to force.

In terms of gameplay, the Wakizashi is a blade that offers a longer reach in comparison to the standard knife, but the weapon is slightly slower than the standard knife.

It is a really nice weapon with a great history behind it and an awesome feeling while playing with it in the game, so you will want to put your hands on it as soon as possible!

But, it is not available from the get-go, you will have to prove your skill in order to obtain it!

The Wakizashi can be unlocked via in-game challenge, either in BO Cold War or in Warzone.

In order to unlock it, you will have to use the standard Combat Knife and execute two Finishing Moves in 10 different matches.

It sounds easy enough, but it actually can be quite tricky, especially against veteran players who will not allow you to humiliate them with the Combat Knife.

While you can perform this challenge in both Warzone and Cold War, we think that it is definitely easier to finish this task in Cold War. Once you unlock it in any of the games, the blade will be available to you in both of them.

Best way to perform this is to try to be sneaky in your games. Stay low, wait for the right moments, use close-quarters in order to force you into situations where you can do this.

It's important to note that you don't need to do this throughout the whole game, it is enough to perform it twice per game, and then you can proceed to play the rest of the match as normal.

Good luck with the challenge and have fun with your new weapon!
