Best FR .556 loadout for COD Mobile Season 3

The FR .556 has been an underutilized weapon in the past, but COD Mobile Season 3 could be a different story for the burst-type assault rifle. 

Before the official release of the new season, a patch was rolled out to change the effectiveness of certain weapons. This round of buffs and nerfs includes the FR .556. The goal for the burst rifle in the new season was to stabilize it through recoil and damage multipliers.

One of the worst parts of the FR .556 in the past was the vertical recoil that shot the weapon up, but COD Mobile Season 3 has reduced the extent of that kick. That means players will be able to alter their loadouts accordingly.

• Barrel: OWC Ranger
• Underbarrel: Strike Foregrip
• Rear Grip: Rubberized Grip Tape
• Laser: OWC Laser - Tactical
• Stock: RTC Steady Stock

Most attachments in this loadouts are based on stability for each burst. While control may have been easier, staying on target is still the main goal of this Modern Warfare weapon. 

Attachments such as the OWC Ranger and the Strike Foregrip take that additional base control and add a ton of stability. On top of the stability, the weapon will also receive decreases in bullet spread, making each burst far more accurate when firing downrange.

The OWC Laser and the Steady Stock will also both increase the accuracy that the FR .556 brings to the table. These come at a cost to recoil in some cases, and the Rubberized Grip Tape can help compensate.

If speed is a problem, then players can swap out the stock attachment, or the grip, for something specialized in ADS speed. As always, the ADS speed will come at a cost to accuracy overall, but it may be worth it depending on the aggression of a map.

FR .556 buffs - COD Mobile Season 3

Some rifles in the updated season received some major increases in damage and range. The FR .556 sits somewhere in the middle for the strength of the buffs when compared to the other assault rifles.

Vertical recoil was adjusted to be much more manageable at a base level. This will allow players to control each of their bursts in a much more competitive manner.

Leg damage multipliers were also increased on the rifle so that shots are more consistent against enemies. Each of these adjustments is minor, but they affect the stability of the weapon as a whole.
