CD Projekt Red tease Cyberpunk 2077 fans with cryptic transmission

In a little over a week, massively hyped - and equally massively delayed - Cyberpunk 2077 will finally be released.

Fans are keeping their fingers crossed that the10th of December release date holds firm, and with this latest teaser it looks like we may all be in luck.

The teaser itself is low on details: a cryptic voicemail from V, asking for help on a job, about which she would send details soon.

“Be ready, ok?” she ends the transmission. “Sounds like it is going to be big.”

The whole thing is tied off with #Cybernight.

What “Cybernight” is, we just don’t know yet, but of course, speculation is running rampant.

Is this the beginning of a massive launch event? Is Cybernight the job V alludes to in her message?

None of this is clear yet, but what it does suggest is a ramp-up into something new. It definitely doesn't follow the pattern of marketing for the game we've seen in the last month or so, after the last Cyberpunk delay.

This is not another Night City Wire episode, nor does it seem to be another imminent delay.

As for what Cybernight is, you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled on the Cyberpunk Twitter. We here at Ginx certainly will be.
