Cyberpunk 2077 1.02 patch notes and download size revealed

On 10th December, we get to step into Night City, taking in all the sights and sounds of CD Projekt RED's massive new RPG. For your trip to Night City, we've got massive guides featuring everything you need to know about the game.

Hopefully, the bugs found by reviewers will be squashed, and the Cyberpunk 2077 1.02 patch notes do indicate there's a whole lot of fixes already deployed.

Cyberpunk 2077 1.02 patch notes

While CD Projekt RED didn't go into detail with the Cyberpunk 2077 1.02 patch notes, we know this one is for consoles. Both PlayStation and Xbox have received the update, with the update code on Xbox being 1.0.0.6.

The patch notes simply explain there has been fixes and improvements to the game, something it definitely needs judging by reviews of the PC version.

Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes:

• Various Stability improvements
• Various performance improvements
• Critical progression and gameplay issues addressed

That's not a lot to go on. However, this does seem to be an update you definitely would want to install.

CD Projekt RED's Fabian Mario Döhla recently said on Twitter: "It is a different game with console update."

Cyberpunk 2077 1.02 update download size

Thanks to a post on Reddit, we now know the Cyberpunk 2077 1.02 update on PlayStation (or 1.0.0.6 on Xbox) weighs in at 28 GB. 

It is unclear if this is actually the Day 1 update for Cyberpunk 2077, or if another one will arrive.

We do know those who opted for a physical copy of Cyberpunk 2077 are in for a hefty 45 to 50 GB download, and an amazing time in Night City.
