How To Revive In Dark And Darker

Reviving friends in Dark and Darker is a pretty simple process overall, but it will require you to first locate your teammate. Once you've found your teammate's corpse, you'll need to follow these steps to revive your friends in the game.

1. Loot the teammate's corpse. First, take their chest armor and Soul Heart. You need these items to revive your friend. If you plan to give their items back to them or want to keep them for yourself, you can further loot their body and take more items with you, but this is not a necessary step.
2. Find an Altar of Sacrifice. Altar of Sacrifices are a location where you can revive your teammates. There is no other way to bring your friends back to life without finding an Altar of Sacrifice. They are typically - but not always - found in the Basement of a dungeon, so it's best to look there first.
3. Interact with the Altar of Sacrifice to revive your friend. Press 'F' to interact with the Altar of Sacrifice. You picked up your friend's Soul Heart and body armor earlier, so the Altar of Sacrifice will immediately begin to revive your teammates, provided you still have them on hand. If you have multiple Soul Hearts, you can use all of them to bring back multiple teammates at an Altar of Sacrifice.
