How To Complete Nature And Nurture Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley

There's always something new to explore in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The new Scar’s Kingdom Update, released on 19th October 2022, offers a ton of new features, including the Villain Star Path and a new Disney Villain to honor the Halloween season: Scar from The Lion King.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, the Rightful King of the Valley needs a devoted servant (like you) to complete a few tasks. So to appease Scar, we have created a guide that explains how to complete the Nature and Nurture quest and how to unlock Scar's quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney's Scar from The Lion King was introduced in the latest update on 19th October 2022, along with a new Villain Star Path. The villainous feline was introduced as the rightful King of the Disney Dreamlight Valley, and one can expect chaos to follow wherever he goes.

Before you can unlock Scar's Nature and Nurture quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must first complete the previous Villain quests. These include Ursula’s With Great Power quest (The Little Mermaid) and Mother Gothel's The Cursed quest (Tangled).

Nature and Nurture is the first of Scar's questlines. After completing this quest, you can complete the Friends Aren't Food, Breaking Bones, The Circle of Life, and The Making of a Monarch quests. Each of these quests must be completed in chronological order.

The Elephant Graveyard is a new area added to the Sunlit Plateau in the Scar’s Kingdom Disney Dreamlight Valley update. Relatedly, you will need to inspect the Giant Skull in the Elephant Graveyard as part of Scar's Nature and Nurture quest.

Once inside, you will interact with Scar. After speaking with him, he will reveal that he has been confined to the Giant Skull for some time. Afterward, he'll ask you to go to Vitalys Mines to discover what is obstructing the river in the Sunlit Plateau.

Once there, you must remove any rocks and Night Thorns in your path as you explore the Vitalys Mine. Once you clear the path, you'll need to venture into the mine and search for various ingredients required to make a fizzy explosion.

You'll find these ingredients in one of the many Green Chests hidden throughout the mine: Ginger Root, Crackling Candies, and the recipe for Root Beer. Once you have the recipe for Root Beer, go to Merlin and report your findings. The next step is to follow Merlin's instructions to make Root Beer at your Cooking Station.

After creating the Extra Fizzy Root Beer, return to the Vitalys Mines and put the Extra Fizzy Root Beer and Crackling Candies in the Red Barrel, located inside the mine. The neighboring Night Thorns obstructing the river's flow will be hit by an explosion of the fizzy mixture. Then, return to the Sunlit Plateau to check if the river has been revived.

After doing this, you will encounter a Forgotten that escapes through a Dark Portal upon leaving the Vitalys Mines in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Walking through the Dark Portal will take you to a Dark Realm with a castle. Once there, clear the rocks as you move across the Realm in search of the object the Forgotten left behind. Finally, return to Dreamlight Valley after obtaining the Orb of Nurturing and give it to Merlin.

After speaking with Merlin, you must gather a few ingredients to produce the Miracle Growth Elixir in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You will require 1K Dreamlight, 10x Rich Soil, and 10x Vitalys Crystal from the Vitalys Mines. You can then use the Miracle Growth Elixir to upgrade your Watering Can.

After successfully upgrading your Watering Can, return to Merlin. He will then give back the Orb of Nurturing and tell you to plant it in front of the Pillar on the Sunlit Plateau. You will then be required to tend to the Orb until it is fully restored; this process will take a few days, so ensure you return to the Pillar and water the Orb whenever possible.

That concludes our guide on how to complete Scar’s Nature and Nurture quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
