For players diving into the new A Rift in Time expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley, the first big task will actually be making it to Eternity Isle. The new paid DLC introduces key new characters like EVE, Gaston, and Rapunzel.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Port of Many Worlds Guide

When you first begin Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time, it's a conversation with Jafar at the mysterious pedastal in the plaza that gets things rolling. If you haven't yet been able to reach that stage, make sure you've completed all the quests needed to start A Rift in Time in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Once you speak to Jafar and kickoff The Port of Many Worlds, he'll direct you to work with Merlin to reach Eternity Isle. After speaking to Merlin, you'll be told to Meet Merlin in the Dream Castle.

This stage is one that can run into some hiccups, as Merlin has a tendency to wander. If for any reason Merlin isn't meeting you inside the Dream Castle, find him on your map and then go ask him to hang out with you.

Once you're traveling together, head to the Dream Castle and Merlin's next steps in the quest should trigger. After a brief conversation he'll find the key to the gate in his pocket and open things up for you to move forward.

After you walk through and get some more cutscenes and conversation, the quest will complete. From here, take the Ancient Vessal (boat) on the right as you enter the port to head to Eternity Isle and continue your Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time journey.
