Is The Casting Of Frank Stone Canon To Dead by Daylight?

It's likely that The Casting of Frank Stone will, in fact, be canon to Dead by Daylight's stories. Dead by Daylight has a history, albeit a short one, of confirming that spinoffs are at least somewhat canon to DBD itself.

Prior to The Casting of Frank Stone, there has only been one DBD spinoff game - Hooked on You, a dating sim - and developers confirmed that at least some aspects of the story were canon, despite containing tons of jokes and an upbeat, tropical atmosphere in stark contrast to Dead by Daylight's trials' more eerie one (though of course, it wasn't devoid of references to meat hooks and sacrifices).

Then there are other types of DBD spinoff media, like The Legion comics by Titan Comics, which are also canon to the Dead by Daylight universe.
