Rejoice! The Iron Banner has returned to Destiny 2 in Season of Defiance and with it some newly reworked fan-favorite weapons in Jorum's Claw and Bite of the Fox. The former was originally introduced back in the Curse of Osiris DLC in 2017, whereas Bite of the Fox was originally brought in during Season of the Outlaw back in 2018.
Even though they're in the game, you might be wondering how to get your hands on these weapons and what rolls make them worth getting. Let's break down everything you need to know about how to get Bite of the Fox in Destiny 2 Season of Defiance.

How To Get The Bite Of The Fox Sniper Rifle In Destiny 2
To get your hands on the Bite of the Fox, you must play Iron Banner, the thrice seasonal Crucible playlist with rotating modes each season. While the last two seasons have brought fun, albeit controversial modes to the game, Season of Defiance has comfortably landed on Iron Banner: Control for its dedicated mode.
While playing Iron Banner, you'll earn rank points each match. The more matches you play in a row without launching a Strike, Gambit match, Raid, Dungeon, etc, the more rank points you earn. As you progress through the ranks, you'll eventually get to Rank 4. Here, you'll be guaranteed to receive a Bite of the Fox Sniper Rifle by talking to Lord Saladin in the Tower.
Bite of the Fox can also drop as a random reward at the end of Iron Banner matches, so keep an eye out for the rolls you're after. It's worth noting that the guaranteed roll from Saladin is more PvE oriented than PvP, so don't get discouraged if this roll is your first and you're not a fan. Keep grinding away!

Bite of the Fox God Rolls
Speaking of rolls, Bite of the Fox is a Kinetic slot, Aggressive Frame Sniper Rifle in Destiny 2. These are great in PvP because they're capable of one-shotting players out of their roaming supers, unlike the Rapid-Fire Frame Snipers.
The perks that I'd say make this weapon worth chasing would be a roll with Snapshot Sights and Vorpal Weapon. These two perks grant vastly faster aim-down-sight speed and deal extra damage to opponents while in their supers, respectively. Coupling these with either a Handling or Stability masterwork will make this a go-to Kinetic Sniper option.
