Destiny 2 Perpetualis God Roll & How To Get

Here's how to get Perpetualis in Destiny 2 alongside our take on its god roll.
Destiny 2 Perpetualis God Roll & How To Get

The Perpetualis is a one-of-a-kind Strand Auto Rifle in Destiny 2 introduced after the launch of the Lightfall expansion. It's a primary slot Adaptative Frame weapon that synergizes well with the Strand subclass.

If you're looking to make the most of your Strand build, the Perpetualis is a decent choice for both PvP and PvE activities. As such, here's our guide, which explains how to get the Perpetualis in Destiny 2, alongside our take on its god roll.

How to get Perpetualis in Destiny 2

You can get Perpetualis by playing Season of the Defiance activities. (Picture: Bungie)

You can get Perpetualis by playing through Season of Defiance activities. It's also one of the rank rewards of the War Table Vendor in the H.E.L.M. Once you have unlocked the Defiant Focusing upgrade, you can also Focus your Defiant Engrams for better rolls of Perpetualis. If you're looking to craft Perpetualis, you may want to use Defiant Keys to get the Resonant variant of this weapon.

Perpetualis PvE god roll in Destiny 2

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
  • Magazine: Tactical Magazine / Appended Magazine
  • Perk 1: Envious Assassin
  • Perk 2: Hatchling

For Perk 1, we recommend Envious Assasin because it synergizes well with your Energy and Heavy weapons. You can kill a bunch of enemies with your Heavy and then quickly swap to your primary to gain increased magazine capacity. Now isn't that sweet? For Perk 2, you may want to go with Hatchling since it puts your Strand subclass to use by spawning Threadlings at the enemy's location.
As far as the Barrel is concerned, we easily recommend Arrowhead Brake because improved recoil and handling make a night and day difference for Auto Rifles, and this provides just that.
Finally, for the Magazine, Tactical is the best choice because it improves pretty much everything.

Perpetualis PvP god roll in Destiny 2

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Perk 1: Zen Moment
  • Perk 2: Target Lock

Perpetualis is a surprisingly good Auto Rifle for Crucible, granted you have the right Perk combinations. For Perk 1, Zen Moment is great because you need more stability and better recoil, and with this, you get all those by simply causing damage.

We mentioned in our Immortal god roll guide how Target Lock is always an easy choice for any PvP weapon. With this, you deal increased damage the more your weapon stays on the target. What more could you want from a PvP weapon?

Similar to its PvE god roll, we recommend Arrowhead Brake because nothing comes close to it. Finally, for the Magazine, you need Accurized Rounds for more range.
