Valve Reveals Dota 2 The International 2021 True Sight Trailer And Release Date

Valve has finally revealed its latest True Sight documentary, going behind the scenes of The International 2021 Finals and the grueling road TI10 Champions Team Spirit took to achieve victory. Announced along with an exciting trailer and September 2022 release date, Dota 2 fans can get excited to relive this monumental moment ahead of The International 2022 starting later this year.

For the uninitiated, True Sight is an acclaimed esports documentary series by Valve and is traditionally released annually. The developer-publisher announced the latest True Sight episode during the Dota 2 PGL Arlington Major 2022 after former two-time TI champions OG were eliminated from the tournament.

When Does Dota 2 True Sight Documentary Release?

Accordingly, Valve's latest installment of True Sight: The International 2021 will premiere on 24th September 2022. As highlighted in a Tweet per the official Dota 2 Twitter account, the documentary will trace Team Spirit's ascendance to victory after they toppled behemoths PSG.LGD in the TI10 Grand Finals against all odds last year.

Their "Cinderella story" victory followed after Team Spirit traversed nearly the entirety of The International 2021's Lower Bracket after being dropped from the Upper Bracket by Invictus Gaming in the first round.

The team eventually managed to make their way to the Grand Finals but not without going through a wave of emotions in the lead-up to an intense 5-game series against PSG.LGD; this later earned them praise by Russian president Vladimir Putin.
