Where To Find Formal Raiment In Dragon's Dogma 2

Two early quests require you to get your hands on some fancy attire in Dragon's Dogma 2. Here are all the ways you can get formal raiments with ease.

When working through the quests for Captain Brant in Dragon's Dogma 2, you'll eventually come across two that require the Arisen to have formal attire. Unfortunately, Captain Brant is less than helpful in telling you exactly where you can find the right clothes.

Whether it's to attend the Masquerade, or the Coronation (Feast of Deception Quest), you won't be going anywhere without being dressed to the nines. Here's how to find the right formal raiments in Dragon's Dogma 2.

Where To Find Formal Clothes In Dragon's Dogma 2

You'll only need two pieces of formal raiments to attend the Masquerade and the Coronation: Courtly Tunic and the Courtly Breeches. Fortunately, there are actually a few ways to get your hands on each:

In The Watchhead's Home

The first method is the fastest, and cheapest way. Head into the Watchhead's Home in the Noble Quarter. We did this at night, though it's possible that the items are also available during the day. On the bottom floor of the house, in the dining room, you'll spot a big item sack. Inside is the Courtly Tunic. Next, head to the top floor and into the room with two single beds. You'll find another item sack, which contains the Courtly Breeches. Put on both pieces, then return to Captain Brant to continue the quests.

Purchase Them At Philbert's Sundries

There's a second way to obtain the clothes, though it's best avoided for obvious reasons. If you have the Gold, and you feel like splurging on something extortionate, you can purchase both pieces from Philbert's Sundries in the Merchant's Quarter. The Courtly Tunic will cost 155,000 Gold, while the Courtly Breeches will cost 150,000 Gold. No matter how you look at it, it's simply too much. We recommend going with the first option.

In Sven's Chambers

Should you feel like sneaking around Venworth Castle, you'll find both the Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches in a chest in the corner of Sven's Chambers. His room can be found on the second floor of the castle, past Disa's Chambers and the Royal Chambers.

However you obtained the raiments, equip both pieces and head back to Captain Brant to continue with the Coronation quest line. If doing the Masquerade quest, be sure to also equip the Eventide Mask before heading into the venue.
