Dying Light 2 is one of the biggest game releases of 2022 thus far, and it has certainly delivered on fan expectations. The post-apocalyptic action RPG features a unique storyline where players encounter both human and zombie foes.

Players must craft weapons and level-up skills as they progress through the title, uncovering secrets along the way. The game is available on multiple platforms, and the latest patch just went live, featuring several bug fixes and improvements for PC. Here's everything you need to know from game developer Techland's Dying Light 2 Patch 1.0.6.

Techland is doing its due diligence to keep the title running smoothly in the initial release period.

In a Twitter post on 11th February, the developer announced that Dying Light 2 Patch 1.0.6 is live and that it addresses "all remaining issues" previously communicated, with "a few additional improvements."

The update does not appear to be in play for other consoles at this time and instead seems to be PC exclusive; however, there could certainly be future updates for various platforms.

  • Added additional video settings (including motion blur and distance blur).
  • Fixed blocks resulting in player ending in a deathloop after COOP session. Some edge cases may still not be fixed and are being investigated.
  • Death screen now has a button that allows to spawn a player inside mission area preventing a block.
  • Fixed numerous crashes and improved game stability.
  • Added option to switch in-game voiceover between localized and original (English).
  • Added additional video settings (including motion blur and distance blur).
  • Various improvements for keyboard and mouse key binding options (including walk toggle option and switch between toggle and hold aiming).
  • Proper music now plays for peers in COOP sessions.
