Here are the details behind one of the most dedicated Elden Ring players who broke the game's internal clock with a 1000-hour playtime.

Elden Ring is one of the most popular games to release this year, and while the game is only five months old, some players have already sunk hundreds of hours into the game. While others have taken this to the extreme, with one player breaking the game's internal clock and playing the game for over a month's worth of time.

If you haven't heard about this insane feat of dedication and perseverance, then you're in the right place. Let's take a look at the details surrounding this absolute legend of a player, who sunk a thousand hours of playtime into Elden Ring and all but broke the game in the process.

With the large amounts of content to explore as Tarnished players make their way through the Lands Between on their quest to become Elden Lors, you can easily expect yourself to spend a good 60+ hours playing the game, and even more, if you aim to 100% the game. ON top of this, you can play the game again after completing it in the new game plus mode, which essentially allows you to restart the game with a higher difficulty.

But one Elden Ring player has pushed a single run of his game to the absolute max, shattering the average 60-hour playtime. A recent post by Reddit user JayzRebellion15 showcased a single run of Elden Ring that lasted nearly 1000 hours, or 999:59:59 to be exact.

This is the maximum time that the game can calculate, and it was completed all in one run by his character, who resembles Castlevania's Richter Belmont, who at the time of hitting the time cap was at level 648, which is an impressive feat in and of itself. But how long exactly was this time in terms of units we are more used to understanding such as days.... or even months?

After the post was made, commenters on Reddit took to calculating his daily playtime which averages 7.35 hours a day of playtime to which JayzRebellion15 reiterates his absolute love for the game, and points to his Youtube Channel as the main reason behind the time. A fun fact is that, when extrapolating this further, we calculate his total playtime equates to 41.625 days, and over a full month of gameplay if it were played continuously, just an insane metric.

Even though Elden Ring has many challenges awaiting players within its game, it's been proven that even playing the game itself for extended amounts of time can be a challenge on its own. And JayzRebellion15 has completely dominated it with sheer dedication and willpower, and that is impressive, to say the least.
