How To Get The Slaughtered By Tentacles Achievement In ESO: Necrom

The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO): Necrom chapter included new Achievements players can unlock through gameplay progression, Zone Quests, exploration, dungeons, and more. Some Achievements may challenge you combat-wise, while others are pretty hilarious to get.

The latter applies to the Slaughtered by Tentacles Achievement, which tasks players to sacrifice themselves to a creature that lurks in the waters surrounding Apocrypha. We’ve pulled out the journal to explain how to unlock the Slaughtered by Tentacles Achievement in ESO: Necrom chapter.

How To Unlock Slaughtered By Tentacles Achievement In ESO Necrom?

The Slaughtered by Tentacles Achievement is a disturbing Achievement to earn, but it may be the easiest by far in the Necrom chapter. 

There's creature that remains unseen throughout Apocrypha; however, you a creature with tentacles can be found in specific locations. Required for the Slaughtered by Tentacles Achievement, you’ll need to locate this creature and get killed by it for the Achievement to be unlocked.

Completing it is easy, but finding this creature may be slightly tricky as it only reveals itself once you’re within its radius. Luckily, it doesn’t just appear on land as it can also be found in the waters surrounding Apocrypha. Should you wish to to complete the Achievement, you can find one on the northern side of Apocrypha.

Travel to the Forlorn Palisades Wayshrine and head down the path going east from the Wayshrine. Just slightly before the bridge and by the crossroads, turn left to cross over the plains until you’ve reached the edge where you must position yourself.

All you need to do is jump off the map, whether on foot or your mount and enter the waters below. Once you’ve broken the water’s surface, the tentacled creature will begin attacking you, from which your health will deplete until it consumes you and eventually kills you.

Doing this series of depressive actions will unlock this Achievement, and you can revive at the closest Wayshrine. There is another creature at the Ichor Sea past the Quires Wind Delve on the northwest side of Apocrypha, where you can complete this Achievement and obtain a Skyshard on the ship docked at Ichor Sea.
