Liquid, 100 Thieves and BC.Game have all booked their places in the 32-team playoff bracket at the Esports World Cup 2026 CS2 Last Chance Qualifier in Paris, keeping their hopes alive of snagging one of just four remaining tickets to the $2 million main event.
The three-day LAN at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles started with 64 teams split into 16 GSL-style groups, and by the August 8 update, 25 of the 32 playoff spots had already been locked in. Liquid and 100 Thieves both won their groups without dropping a single map, while BC.Game recovered from conceding Nuke to BASEMENT BOYS to still take Group F, according to cs2news.
What the Advancing Sides Look Like
Liquid’s rebuilt lineup, featuring new additions JT and Jorko, went 2-0 through Group L, backing up recent online wins over Vitality and G2. 100 Thieves are on their first LAN under new in-game leader Gizmy, who has taken over calling duties from rain, while BC.Game’s roster of s1mple, electroNic and Magisk arrived fresh off winning Elisa Esports Breakout Series 1 a week earlier.
- Format: 32-team single-elimination bracket, all Bo3
- Round of 32: 11:00 BST, August 9
- Round of 16: 14:00 BST
- Qualification quarterfinals: 17:00 BST
The full bracket was not confirmed at the time of writing, with seven group deciders still to finish, so the Round of 32 matchups remained undecided. Liquid, 100 Thieves and BC.Game could still meet before the four qualification spots are settled.
Whoever gets through joins the 28 VRS-qualified sides already locked into the EWC 2026 CS2 main event, part of a wider event covered in our breakdown of the Esports World Cup’s Paris prize pool and schedule.
