The apEX-led squad ground out a tight 13-11 win on Dust 2 before shutting the door on FaZe’s Cache with a dominant 13-6 scoreline, according to Strafe. It’s a much-needed statement after a rough stretch for the French outfit, who qualified through the B8 lower-bracket grind at EWC and were swept out of BLAST Bounty Summer by Team Liquid in their worst placement since October 2023.

On the other side of the bracket, Team Spirit dispatched B8 to punch their own ticket to the quarterfinal, but the win came with familiar caveats. Vitality have historically owned this head-to-head, having not dropped a single series to Spirit since 2025, and Strafe’s own preview tips Vitality as clear favourites unless Spirit can finally support donk as a full unit rather than leaning on him to win rounds solo.
Whoever comes out on top moves one step closer to the Grand Final at the Accor Arena, with the winner advancing straight into the EWC 2026 semifinals.
