Attack on Titan is a popular manga and anime series that follows the story of humanity's struggle against the man-eating humanoid creatures called Titans. The franchise is cemented as a worldwide sensation, so it's no surprise that fans have been pleading for a Fortnite and Attack on Titans (AOT) crossover. This is especially true after successful collaborations with Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia.
While news of a Fortnite x AOT collab would probably go down as the most epic crossover ever, the ironic timing of the end of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 and Attack on Titan Part 3 in March 2023 has generated a lot of excitement and speculation. In particular, rumors have begun circulating that the next season of Fortnite will see players fighting against each other to survive a Titan invasion. But are these rumors true?
Updated on 10 March: Fortnite players can get the Eren Yeager skin through the Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass.
Will There Be A Fortnite Attack on Titan Crossover?
According to the latest Epic Games blog post on 10 March, the Outfit for Attack on Titans anime protagonist Eren Yaeger will become available to unlock in the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass. This news should not be a surprise, as leakers ShiinaBR and HYPEX previously confirmed that various Attack on Titan cosmetics were discovered in the Fortnite v24.00 (Chapter 4 Season 2) game files prior to its release.
In particular, it appears as though there will be an Eren Yeager Outfit with a potential mid-season Titan variant skin. In addition, there appears to be potential bundled Fortnite Attack on Titan items (see below). Right now, it is still unclear how players can unlock the Attack on Titan Fortnite skin.
- Emote (Scout Regime Salute)
- Banner Icon (Crossed Swords)
- Pickaxe ("Ice Fist" of a titan)
- Animated Emoji (Angry Eren)
- Weapon Wrap
- 5-6 hidden Page 2 items
The speculation around a potential Fortnite and Attack on Titan crossover stemmed largely from the timing of two key events. With the start of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 beginning shortly after the finale of the Attack on Titan anime series releasing on 3 March, it seems like it would be the perfect opportunity for collaboration -- and we were right to believe so!
