How To Complete Fortnite Sideways Showdown Week Quests

Epic Games deployed the Fortnite 20.40 patch across all the platforms in the early hours of May 17, and it trickled in Sideways Rifle and Minigun. In addition to this, Epic Games has also introduced a brand new set of Fortnite Sideways Showdown quests through which players can earn a ton of battle pass XP.

This week around, Fortnite fans have to work through challenges associated with Sideways weapons, such as damaging opponents with Sideways Rifle or Minigun, upgrading Sideways at an Upgrade bench, and more. So without any further delay, let’s look at the complete list of Fortnite Sideways Showdown quests.

Fortnite Sideways Showdown Quests

Fortnite Sideways Showdown Week features a total of nine challenges, and here’s a list for the same:

• Damage opponents with Sideways Weapons. (500)
• Damage opponents with Sideways Weapons. (1500)
• Damage opponents with Sideways Weapons. (4500)
• Damage opponents with Sideways Weapons. (10000)
• Upgrade a Sideways weapon at an upgrade bench. (1)
• Overheat any Sideways gun. (1)
• Collect a Sideways Minigun and a Sideways Rifle in a single match. (2)
• Defeat IO forces with Sideways Minigun. (5)
• Damage opponents from 40 or more meters with the Sideways Rifle. (150)

While most of the challenges are self-explanatory, we’ve provided a detailed breakdown of the complicated ones.

First of all, it’s worth noting that players can find Sideways Rifle and Minigun in the chests and on the ground after the latest Fortnite update.

To upgrade a Sideways at an Upgrade Bench, players can land at the following locations in Chapter 3, Season 2:

• Greasy Grove
• Synapse Station
• Rocky Reels
• Butter Barn - South of Rocky Reels
• Chonker's Speedway
• Condo Canyon
• The Perch - East of The Joneses
• South of Tilted Towers
• Far Northeast of Rocky Reels (Unnamed location)
• West of Camp Cuddle
• Launch Pad Island
• Coney Crossroads

When it comes to overheating the Sideways weapon, all you need to do is keep the fire button pressed for at least eight seconds while holding a Sideways Rifle or Minigun.

Then, you will notice the overheating effect on the gun’s barrel, and it will enter the cooldown phase.
