Fortnite Winter Trials: Release date
Epic Games accidentally released a webpage for the Fortnite Winter Trails, which was caught by famous Fortnite leaker and dataminer, HYPEX, before it was quickly taken down.
In the FAQ on the now-deleted page, the release date for the Fortnite Winter Trials was 25th January 2021, with the end date at 31st January 2021.
However, since we are writing this on 26th January, that's definitely not the correct Fortnite Winter Trials release date. It seems Epic Games is gearing up to release the event, so expect a proper release date soon.
The video below from HYPEX showcases the website for the Fortnite Winter Trials event. If the details from the FAQ remains the same, only players over 13 years of age and in North America will be able to participate.
Fortnite Winter Trials: Challenges & Rewards
Judging by what HYPEX found, there will be 12 challenges to complete in the Fortnite Winter Trials, with some free rewards.
Players will be able to earn badges for simply logging in, voting for challenges, and playing Fortnite. There will also be challenges to complete, from defeating NPCs in solos.
The Fortnite Winter Trials event, according to the leaked information, will also allow you to support several streamers, including the likes of SypherPK, Nate Hill and more.
Complete enough challenges in the Fortnite Winter Trials event, and you could get free cosmetic rewards.
As you can see from the image above, only three cosmetic rewards were revealed via the leak. These rewards for the Fortnite Winter Trials event include a spray, an emoticon, and a wrap.
Hopefully, Epic Games will officially reveal the Fortnite Winter Trials event details soon.
