How to get Fortnite's Blizzabelle skin for free

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is in full swing, giving players plenty of opportunities to gain XP and unlock exciting new rewards. While the Spider-Man skin and his mythic web-shooters are no doubt some of the most esteemed rewards currently unlockable within the battle pass, there is plenty of other exciting stuff currently happening or about to happen in Fortnite.

The Gears of War crossover event is ongoing, with new challenges for players to pursue. Furthermore, Winterfest 2021 is about to start on 16th December, adding its own set of challenges and exclusive rewards to unlock alongside fourteen days of free presents every day. Amidst all of this is a brand new free winter-themed skin that players can also redeem starting 16th December.

Ahead of its launch, influencers have data-mined a handful of information about Winterfest 2021. These include the list of presents, new NPCs, unlockable rewards, and more. Interestingly, there's also a Blizzabelle outfit that will be available for all Epic Games launcher users from 16th December to 6th January.

The aforementioned information comes from notable Fortnite leaker, Jovanmunja, who took to Twitter to share the news alongside the official promotional image of Blizzabelle coming to Fortnite.

At the time of this writing, it isn't clear whether the free Blizzabelle skin would directly reflect in players' inventories or players would have to claim it from the Epic Games Store though the latter seems more likely to be the case. Either way, this should be a compelling free reward to get players ready for the festivities that await them in Winterfest 2021.
