If there is an issue with Fortnite servers, it can cause crashing issues for PC, especially after a new update and in that case, Epic Games announces it officially via the Fortnite Status Twitter page. In order to fix it, you just have to wait until the devs release a hotfix, as they work constantly on it.

However, if the problem exists on some other day, you must make sure that there is no issue going on with Fortnite servers, and you can track it by following the Fortnite Status Twitter handle. In addition to this, check if your internet is working properly, and if not, you can contact your internet service provider to fix the problem.

Other thing that you need to check is if your system meets the minimum requirements needed to run Fortnite or not and also if your game is updated to its latest version, as you will not be able to play the game on any older version.

Lastly, check whether your graphics drivers are up to date or not, as it may cause problems in rendering Fortnite, and hence, the game might keep crashing. If none of the above fixes work for you, you can contact Fortnite customer support, and they will get back to you with a solution based on the information you provide them.
