Genshin Impact developer miHoYo discussed a broad range of topics in the latest Developer Discussion post, including changes and optimisations arriving in the upcoming Genshin Impact version 2.4 update. One topic that intrigued many Travellers is that Daily Commissions will be receiving a much-needed refresh.
The developer has announced that 11 new commission quests will be available in the version 2.4 update. Players are eligible for these new daily commissions after completing certain prerequisite quests or meeting specific criteria like having a certain Adventure Rank.
New Daily Commissions arriving in 2.4 update
Daily Commissions play a critical role regarding player progression in Genshin Impact. By completing daily commissions, Travellers get rewarded with Primogems and Mora. Additionally, they will receive Adventure and Companionship EXP, which are vital to increasing their ranking and their party's Friendship Level.

However, many Travellers have complained that the Daily Commissions were lacklustre in the last few updates. Furthermore, the commissions in the Mondstadt and Liyue regions were becoming repetitive, and it seems the developer has listened to players' feedback.
Travellers are getting new Daily Commissions; however, it appears that cycling for these commissions will be made a little easier to navigate going forward. The inclusion of new Daily Commissions is indeed something exciting to look forward to; however, we don't yet know what these new commissions will entail.
The developer will introduce new optimisations to the Teyvat World Map, among several other changes. This is to help with the tedious job of navigating one's way around the "ever-expanding map", but more details will follow soon.
Travellers can also expect a Favourite mechanic to be added to the in-game mail system. Other in-mail system changes include email items like birthday wishes that will be automatically transferred to the Gift Mail Box once rewards have been collected and won't expire over time.
The developer had also revealed the Genshin Impact version 2.4 Special Program Livestream would be taking place on 26th December 2021, so we can expect more details to follow in a few days.
