Its in-game description reads, “A mysterious gem of unknown make. It shines like a star even when placed inside your backpack. Perhaps this is the key to completing a certain image.” Being one of the new quest items, many Travelers are having a hard time finding all the three Star Shaped Gems. For those unlucky souls, this guide shows the exact location on Tsurumi Island to find this quest item in Genshin Impact.
How to get all three Star Shaped Gems in Genshin Impact?
Before moving forward, make sure you have the Peculiar Pinion gadget in your Genshin Impact inventory that can be obtained by completing the Octave of the Maushiroon quest.
To start off, teleport to Shirikoro Peak waypoint and head north until you reach the underground. Once you discover the underground city, enter a room full of murals beyond the stone gate. If the stone gate is sealed, you might not have completed the “A Particularly Particular Author” world quest properly.
Head northwest from the small room until you see a wall with a bird pattern engraved on it. Use the Peculiar Pinion gadget near the wall in order to break it. There you will find an exquisite chest containing the first Star Shaped Gem.
Just like the previous one, the second wall also has a bird pattern on it. You can find it just outside the previous room near the purple bird statue. Once again, use the Peculiar Pinion gadget to destroy the wall and get the second Star Shaped Gem from the exquisite chest.
To find the final one, turn your vision 180 degrees from the second room and head straight until you find stairs. Go near the water using the stairs and use the gadget for the last time to break the final wall. After that, head over to the west and climb the wall until you reach the second floor. The exquisite chest is placed on the second platform boasting the final Star Shaped Gem.
So there you have it, everything you need to know about obtaining all three Star Shaped Gems in Genshin Impact.
