Genshin Impact Memento Lens gadget: How to get and use

Genshin Impact 2.0 update added a plentitude of world quests that players can take on to get a variety of rewards, including new weapon blueprints and gadgets. Memento Lens is one such gadget that players can get from one of the newly added world quests. It is an important gadget that players need to solve puzzles found all around Narukami Island. In the wake of that, we are here with a handy guide on how to get and use Memento Lens in Genshin Impact. 

How to get Memento Lens 

Players can get the Memento Lens gadget in midway through the Sacrificial Offering sub-quest of Genshin Impact's Scared Sakura Cleansing Ritual world quest. 

During the Sacrificial Offering quest, players have to investigate the abandoned shrine near Chinju forest. All players have to do is interact with three Mysterious Shadows. Doing this will move them towards the central part of the abandoned shrine, where players unlock a few chests and will get the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Summary.

As soon as the players have the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Summary, the quest will progress, and the new objective is to "Head to the Grand Narukami Shrine to Investigate." 

Once you are there, talk to the NPC called Inagi Hotomi, she is the one who will give you the Memento Lens gadget to continue your investigation of the abandoned shrine.  

How to use Memento Lens 

Players can use the Memento Lens gadget only on Earth Kitsune statues found in the Inazuma region of Genshin Impact. 

Once you obtain the Memento Lens, open your inventory and go to the gadgets section. Click on the Memento Lens and select equip option. Doing this will assign the Memento Lens in the gadget quick menu. 

• On PC, you can press the 'Z' key to use the Memento Lens.

• On mobile, you can tap on the gadget icon to use the Memento Lens.

• On PS4 and PS5, you can press the 'L1 + O' key to use the Memento Lens.
