How to make fish bait in Genshin Impact

miHoYo has introduced the fishing system in Genshin Impact 2.1 update that helps players catch fish using an appropriate bait and fishing rod. Players can unlock the fishing system by unlocking the Serenitea Pot system and completing the Exploding Population quest. 

Then, they need to go to a fishing location with a fishing rod and bait to catch different fishes. There are a total of four types of baits and each one of them requires different materials. In addition to this, each bait is used to catch different kinds of fish and here's how you can make all of them.

Genshin Impact: How to make fish bait

One set of ingredients will give you ten baits and you can make them using a crafting table. Here is the list of all the fish baits available in Genshin Impact 2.1 along with the ingredients you need to make them:

Fruit Paste Bait

• 1 Wheat 
• 1 Sunsettia

Redrot Bait

• 1 Fowl
• 1 Dendrobium 

False Worm Bait

• 1 Berry 
• 1 Slime Condensate 

Fake Fly Bait

• 1 Horsetail
• 1 Sakura Bloom 

Out of all the baits, the recipe for Fruit Paste Bait will be available right after you finish the Exploding Population quest to unlock the fishing system.

While on the other hand, the recipe for the rest of the fish baits needs to be purchased from the Mondstadt Fishing Association in Mondstadt City.
