Kamisato Ayato’s appearance kit detailed in new leak

Genshin Impact's Kamisato Ayato has garnered remarkable attention since the character first appeared during Arataki Itto's trailer. However, while a few others make references to the head of the Kamisato clan, there isn't much else we know about him.

Recently, there have been various leaks, most of which have pointed to  Ayato's combat role and his timeline in Genshin Impact. However, a new leak detailing his appearance has left the Genshin Impact community confused on what to expect.

How will Kamisato Ayato look in Genshin Impact?

Kamisato Ayato has yet to make his arrival to Genshin Impact and, as such, has proven to be quite popular with the community. This is evident with the plethora of questionable leaks emerging online, including those across various Genshin Impact subreddits.

New leaks for Ayato detailed what could be the most significant piece of information, alluding to the character's appearance. Leakers posted the information to the Chinese website BiliBili before being translated and reposted to the Wangsheng Funeral Palor's Discord channel and other forums.

Accordingly, these leaks provide a detailed description of what Kamisato Ayato could look like in-game. Ayato was described as a tall male with white hair and a white suit. "Looks like a male model [or] Ikeman but is more muscular and masculine," said one Reddit user.

Ayato is rumoured to be a 5-star character, wielding a Hydro element and a sword as his preferred weapon. Ayato is positioned to be a "fantastic DPS but [with] higher skill cap," which he'll likely shake up the Genshin meta due to his potential in-game.

Additionally, more information regarding the character's kit description was detailed in the leaked texts. Ayato will be the game's first character to fully utilise the vaporise Elemental Reaction, which will increase the damage of Ayato's Hydro attacks he inflicts.

• Normal Attack (Kamisato Art - Straight Line/Ichimonji): his N2 (two Normal) and N4 (four Normal) attacks will stack up "Posture," for which the Charged Attacks can use them for his "Ichimonji Slashes" skill which deals increasing amounts of Hydro damage
• Elemental Skill (Shuumatsu Art - Cicada Shell): His Elemental Skill will allow him to summon an empty shell bearing his likeness, which taunts enemies as he dashes sideways across the battlefield.

• Elemental Burst (Kamisato Art - Cross Spear): Ayato fires a targeted Hydro attack that sends a downpour of water to inflict Hydro damage onto his enemies and decrease their Hydro resistance. Once he uses his Elemental Burst, it will reset the cooldown counter.

There isn't much information on Ayato's passives; however, his Utility passive, Reformer's Eye, will grant him a 10% chance of receiving a reward when he crafts weapon materials.

There has been a lot of questionable and credible information about Ayato that the community has been dissecting for something more concrete.

As of writing, Genshin Impact developer, miHoYo, have yet to confirm the validity of any of these leaks.
