Honkai Star Rail Pity System Explained
There will usually be several banners for players to choose from in Honkai Star Rail. Some of these are permanent, while others are limited and will disappear after their allotted time is up. Summons in Honkai Star Rail are referred to as Warps. 160 Stellar Jade can be exchanged for 1 Pass or 1 Special Pass. Passes can then be used on either the Beginner Warp or the Standard Warp, while Special Passes can be used on Character Oriented Warps and Light Cone Oriented Warps.

Standard Warp Pity Counter
The Standard Warp is your general summon banner that will remain indefinite. It is not recommended to summon on this banner, as all the characters here have a chance of appearing on limited banners anyway, meaning you will likely acquire all of this banner's contents at some point during your time in the game. Still, if you choose to summon on this banner, you will be guaranteed a five-star character after 90 pulls.

- You are guaranteed a 5-Star within 90 pulls (soft pity). Therefore, the most it will take you to acquire the rate-up character will be 180 pulls (hard pity).

- One 5-Star and 4-Star Light Cone is featured on each Character-Oriented Warp.
- The 5-Star rate is set to 0.8%.
