League of Legends: How To Change Region

League of Legends has become a game played by millions of people all over the globe. As such, if you have made friends with people from different parts of the world or are planning a long trip or permanent move overseas, you may want to change your League of Legends region in order to maintain your current skins, emotes, and rune pages.

Changing your region in League of Legends is relatively simple, but there are certain checks you may want to ensure are complete before making the move. Additionally, there are also certain times of the year when region changing is temporarily suspended, so you may find yourself unable to swap during these times.

How To Change Region In League Of Legends

You can change your League of Legends region in these simple steps. 

1. Open League of Legends and head to the store. 
2. Click the button next to "Purchase RP."
3. Click on the "Change Region" tab.

Do note Region transfers are not free. It costs 2600 RP to change regions in League of Legends. The transfer itself is one-way and will happen almost instantly.
