There is a lot of new excitement generated for the game due to the fact that there was a new trailer released during the latest PlayStation State of Play.

Now that we are a month away from Marvel's Spider-Man 2, a lot of questions about the game have been answered. We now know the file size, and the platforms for the game, and a lot more information has come forward as well. In the most recent news, Insomniac has announced that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has gone gold.

For those who are unaware, the term going gold for a game means that the game has completed production. What this means is that Insomniac has finished the development of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and the game is ready for launch. Insomniac then Tweeted out a video of the team celebrating the end of the development cycle.

This is good news for players who want to purchase Marvel's Spider-Man 2. With the game going gold, that means that there should be no more delays on the project. With this announcement, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is cemented to be released on October 20th.
