The long-rumored Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is apparently not a PlayStation exclusive.
Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Reportedly Not PlayStation Exclusive

Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake has long been rumored to exist, and according to several sources will be announced this week at the upcoming PlayStation Showcase. According to InsiderGaming though, it won't be exclusive to the PlayStation family of consoles.

Within an article, InsiderGaming stated:

"Insider Gaming sources have revealed that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake will release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Steam"

This report comes as Andy Robinson from VGC seemingly teases an upcoming announcement for the game after several different reports from the outlet stated that Konami is not only working on a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake but also on a new Castlevania game. If true, this would be the first true Metal Gear game in eight years, with the last game being Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. That game was also the final game that Hideo Kojima worked on during his time with Konami.

Hopefully, the aforementioned PlayStation Showcase on Wednesday, May 24 reveals more information about the future of the series this week.
