SonicFox tells viewers to “vote Bernie” as they win Final Kombat 2020

Final Kombat 2020 is the culmination of the Mortal Kombat 11 competitive season, seeing the top 16 players compete to be crowned the best in the world.

Considering the player’s track record, winning EVO 2019 and ranking as the top seed, SonicFox was the easy favourite heading into Final Kombat – and they didn’t disappoint.

It wasn’t plain-sailing for SonicFox however, who was knocked into the losers bracket by Jarrad “Ninjakilla” Gooden – causing the player’s first loss in the tournament.

Knocked down to the losers final against Ryan “Dragon” Walker, SonicFox clawed back with 3-1 victory – setting up a rematch between SonicFox and Ninjakilla in the grand finals.

SonicFox, playing as Joker, took the first set in the finals. While Ninjakilla managed to claim the second set, the momentum always looked on SonicFox’s side as they reset the bracket 3-1.

From there, it was practically an exact repeat of the first match – with SonicFox taking the Championship title and $40,000 with another 3-1 win.

Following their victory, SonicFox took to the stage in their customary blue fox outfit and shouted “Vote Bernie” in reference to the Democrat nominations in the US.

You can check out the top eight from the tournament below.
