Magic The Gathering: Jurassic World Release Date

Welcome.................... to Jurassic Park.
Magic The Gathering: Jurassic World Release Date

Your Magic The Gathering designers were so preoccupied with whether they could, that they didn't think about whether they should. Classic movie franchise Jurassic Park is getting Universe Beyond cards in the upcoming Lost Caverns of Ixalan set, and they look absolutely incredible. We've got the details on the first cards announced when you can expect to see them and more.

Magic The Gathering Universes Beyond: Jurassic World Release Date

The Jurassic Park cards for the upcoming The Lost Caverns of Ixalan set will be released on November 17. While they won't be available in the main Lost Caverns of Ixalan set, they will be available in the set and collector boosters, with the cards completely guaranteed in the Gift Bundle.

The cards are designed for eternal formats and take characters/locations from all of the movies in the franchise to create a coherent strategy.

Magic The Gathering Universes Beyond: Jurassic World Cards

While there are not many cards currently announced for Magic The Gathering Universes Beyond Jurassic World, we do know several of them.

  • Welcome To...
  • Jurassic Park
  • Indominus Rex, Alpha
  • Ian Malcolm, Chaotician
  • Don't Move
  • Compy Swarm
  • Life Finds A Way
  • Ravenous Tyrannosaurus
  • Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists
  • Indoraptor, The Perfect Hybrid
  • Dino DNA
  • Command Tower

It's likely that there are more cards to come, likely to be announced in the coming weeks.

Will The Jurassic World Cards Be In Magic The Gathering: Arena?

It's currently unclear whether or not the Universe Beyond cards will make their way to MTG: Arena. The Transformers cards never made their way over to Magic The Gathering: Arena, and the Doctor Who cards also haven't made any movement toward the online simulator. It's probably not likely that we see the Jurassic World cards in the simulator, quite honestly.
