Horse Mount

To unlock the first mount in New World i.e. a horse, you need to purchase the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion and reach level 25. You will then receive A Change in the Wild quest that you need to start, and then, you have to go to the location marked on the map and talk to Jochi Khan.

He will offer you a quest called “My Kingdom for a Horse,” and your task is to first go to the location marked on the map and investigate the area by the lake for signs of the Beast Lords.

Once you enter the cave, go to the highlighted spot to commute with the Beast Lords at the mural. Then go to the next highlighted spot and harvest azoth infused oats.

Now, go to the next marked location on the map to find the horse and feed oats to bond with it. Now go back to Jochi Khan to complete the quest and get Moonshadow Mount.

Wolf and Lion Mounts

In order to get Wolf Mounts, you will have to just keep on completing the mount quest line to level up your horse and reach level 45. On the other hand, Lion Mount can be unlocked by reaching level 65.

You can customize each mount as you like by going into your inventory and clicking on the horse icon on the top left side. You will be able to summon your mount whenever you want except when you are in battle and not only this, you will also be able to pet them to keep them happy.
