How to get rabbit's foot in New World

If players are feeling lucky enough, they can try and snatch themselves a rabbit’s foot in Aeternum.

Housing is one area of New World that tends to get overlooked but it’s an escape for some players. It’s a way for them to take a break from killing monsters and completing quests out in the world. One of the most coveted housing items is the Minor Luck Foot Trophy, which requires a rabbit’s foot in order to craft.

However, so far, players are having trouble locating the lucky item to craft the trophy. Like most unusual items in New World, the rabbit’s foot doesn’t come with an instruction manual on how to find it. So players are turning to the internet to solve their problems.

Luckily, players have come to the right place, as this guide will show them exactly where they can get a rabbit’s foot in New World.

While some players might be busy looking in supply crates stashed around Aeternum, the answer to acquiring a rabbit’s foot is actually quite simple. All you need to do is kill a hare to have a chance at getting the item as a drop.

This seems simple enough but this is one of the rarest drops from an animal in the game. The hares don’t often drop a rabbit’s foot and it could take you several hours of killing the small creatures before receiving one.

To find more hares in New World, you should stick to the outside of town settlements. For example, the forests directly outside of Windswar are home to several hare spawns that you can take advantage of. However, simply traversing the world will yield countless Hares for you to kill.

If you upgrade your Tracking and Skinning trade skill, you’ll unlock the ability to see where hares are on your compass. This is unlocked at level 25 of the trade skill. After this is unlocked, it’s just a matter of getting lucky to get a rabbit’s foot in New World.
