How to find peacocks in New World

Peacocks can be somewhat of an enigma in New World.
How to find peacocks in New World

The amount of animals and other creatures that players can find in New World can be somewhat overwhelming. It’s a solid bet that some players don’t even know the full scope of the wildlife that’s scattered around the many regions of Aeternum. For example, some players might have no idea there are peacocks roaming the lands.

However, other players need to find peacocks desperately in order to complete a quest for their town or an NPC or even find the birds simply for the materials they drop. If you’re a player who’s been looking for the majestic birds in New World but haven’t found any luck, then you’ve come to the right place.

This guide will show players exactly where they can find all of the peacocks in New World.

First things first, you need to know the regions that peacocks are available in. New World tends to scatter the creatures in Aeternum across specific regions so that players are encouraged to venture out of the place they began their journey.

As of right now, here are all of the regions peacocks can be found in New World:

  • Ebonscale Reach

That’s right, only Ebsonscale Reach holds the semi-flightless birds. For players looking to complete a specific quest, this is the region you’ll need to travel to if you want to hunt a peacock.

Within Ebonscale Reach, the encounter points for peacocks are quite large. They can be found all over the region but mainly in the northeastern and south/southeastern parts of the region. The western side of Ebonscale Reach is pretty bare when it comes to peacocks. So if you want to hunt down the birds, sticking to the east side of the region is the way to go.

You can track peacocks if your Tracking and Skinning trade skill is high enough, which makes the process much simpler. From here, it’s a matter of wandering around and getting lucky enough to run into one of the birds in New World.
