Black Wings studio is hosting another closed beta test for its upcoming gacha game Persona 5 The Phantom X and has released a lengthy trailer to commemorate the occasion.

The four-minute-long 'Heart Stealing Test' trailer highlights new gameplay, environments, and, most importantly, playable characters. Naturally, the new trailer has been received positively by the fans, though one thing that fans can't get enough of is the new gamer girl character named Yui.

Yui, as the Twitter (X) user Pan-hime points out, is a gamer obsessed with "acquiring in-game land." Apparently, she meets the protagonist in an online game where they both decide to grow crops together.

The characterization is quite intriguing, though fans also can't get enough of her striking appearance. Some fans think she looks like the Hatsune Miko of Persona, whereas others are calling her a fusion of Futaba and Sophia.

My immediate thoughts were, "Oh, she is the Silver Wolf of Persona," but that's mainly because I have been playing a lot of Honkai: Star Rail lately.

The Persona franchise is no stranger to quirky female characters like the Featherman figurine-loving Futaba Sakura or the Kung-fu obsessed Chie Satonaka. These are well-written characters loved dearly by the Persona fandom, and it's no surprise that everyone's excited to get to know Yui in Persona 5: The Phantom X.

Ever since its reveal, Persona 5: The Phantom X has been making quite a noise with its unique characters, like the 44-year-old housewife Kayo Tohyama. The latest trailer also revealed Riddle, the youngest Persona user in the series since Ken and Tatsuya.

Having uniquely designed characters is part of the appeal of gacha games, and so far, Persona 5: The Phantom X hasn't disappointed. Sadly, there's still no word on a global release date, so fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the game.

Persona 5: The Phantom X will be released on PC and Mobile Devices.
