PUBG Mobile x BLACKPINK collaboration: What we know so far

PUBG Mobile has announced a collaboration with K-Pop group BLACKPINK. The South Korean girl band is absolutely huge in Asia, and following the ban on PUBG Mobile in India, this is a brilliant move by the developers. Here's what we know so far about the PUBG Mobile x BLACKPINK collaboration. 

PUBG Mobile x BLACKPINK

The K-Pop band BLACKPINK recently collaborated with Selena Gomez, and now they are heading to PUBG Mobile.

At the time of writing, PUBG Corporation has not officially revealed any specifics or a release date for some kind of event featuring BLACKPINK.

 

 

As you can see from the announcement above, the PUBG Mobile x BLACKPINK collaboration announcement is very vague right now.

While we don't know exactly what to expect, for example, an event or some colourful skins, we do know about the new Recall event for Season 15 which features some BLACKPINK-branded rewards.

 

PUBG Mobile Season 15 Recall event

Every season, PUBG Mobile has a Recall event, tasking players with inviting back friends who haven't played the game for a while.

The latest Recall event is for players who haven't logged in for 28 days or more, and reached level 15 or above in PUBG Mobile.

Players can earn tokens to redeem rewards, and those who invited them can also reap the benefits of bringing others back to the mobile Battle Royale sensation.

The PUBG Mobile Recall event rewards are clearly related to BLACKPINK, as you can see from the image below.

It remains to be seen if there will be more coming to PUBG Mobile with the BLACKPINK collaboration. 

We will have to wait for PUBG Corporation to officially announce more details but the PUBG Mobile x BLACKPINK collaboration will undoubtedly take place during Season 15.
