Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have had the Hisuian starters in Black Crystal raids before and now Hisuian Samurott is being thrown in the mix. This is a great opportunity for players without Pokemon Legends: Arceus to receive this rare Pokemon.

When it comes to 7-Star Event Raids, preparation is key. These Pokemon are very difficult to take down so it is important players come with the right counters ready. But what are the right counters for Hisuian Samurott during its Tera Raid event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? We will go over those details below.

When Does The Hisuian Samurott Tera Raid Event Start In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

The Hisuian Samurott Tera Raid Event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will start on November 24th. From that time period, it will last until November 26th. That does not give players too much time to prepare, especially since this is going to be a 7-Star Tera Raid. Players will want to have their Pokemon be Level 100 to keep up.

Thankfully, that is not the only time period when this raid event will take place. Players can also take on the Hisuian Samurott 7-Star Raid from December 1st until December 3rd. This gives players a bit more time to prepare thier Pokemon for this raid event. They will need it as it will definitely take very powerful Pokemon to take on Hisuian Samurott.

Best Counters For Hisuian Samurott Tera Raid Event

For those who are unaware, Hisuian Samuorott is a Water and Dark-type Pokemon. During the Tera Raid Event, Hisuian Samurott will always be Tera Water. So, players will have to bring in Pokemon that can not only counter Hisuian Samurott's Tera-type but also resist the moves that it will have. There is one perfect Pokemon for this.

Iron Hands is the perfect counter for the Hisuian Samurott Tera Raid. Bulky, powerful, and the perfect type to fully counter Hisuian Samurott. It is a Fighting and Electric-Type Pokemon that will counter everything Hisuian Samruott can throw at it. Another good Pokemon to use for this raid is Miraidon because Electric and Dragon is also a great counter for this raid. Miraidon being a Legendary Pokemon will give it the extra damage it needs to take down Hisuian Samurott.
