How to Evolve Bisharp into Kingambit In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

There is a lot of new Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. So much so that Pokemon that previously did not have an evolution like Primeape can now evolve. Bisharp is also a Pokemon that can now evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Bisharp can now evolve into a Pokemon called Kingambit. Bisharp has a unique way of evolving and it is a bit complicated. Because of all the new features in Scarlet and Violet, new ways of evolving Pokemon can now be implemented in the game. Here, we will go over exactly what you need to do to evolve Bisharp.

How Do I Evolve Bisharp In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet?

There are very specific steps that you need to do to get Kingambit on your team. The first thing that you should do is catch what is known as a Leader Bisharp. Although it is much easier to catch a Pawniard, the pre-evolution of Bisharp, these Pawniard will not do. You need a Bisharp that is leading a pack.

What you need to do is find a Bisharp in the wild that is surrounded by Pawniard. That is how you know it is a Leader Bisharp. Catch that Bisharp, and it should be holding an item called a Leader's Crest. That is how you know it is a Leader Bisharp.

Now that you have a Leader Bisharp, the next step is that you actually need to defeat three other Leader Bisharp with your own Leader Bisharp. Your Leader Bisharp must be holding the Leader's Crest while you do so. Again, look for Bisharp that is surrounded by Pawniard, and the Bisharp should be holding a Leader's Crest and defeat them. You can easily fly to the same spot you caught your Leader Bisharp and another should appear. The best way to defeat other Leader Bisharp is by teaching your Bisharp a Fighting TM move.

Once you have defeated three Leader Bisharp, all you have to do next is level up your Bisharp and it should evolve into a Kingambit. If your Bisharp did not evolve, that means you did not defeat Leader Bisharp. Make sure that the Bisharp you defeat is surrounded by Pawniard.

Is Kingambit A Good Pokemon To Use?

Kingambit is a pretty good Pokemon in our opinion. It has very high stats and on top of that, its signature move Kowtow Cleave does 85 base damage and it never misses. So it could be a good sweeper despite its low-speed stats.

Just be aware that Kingambit is four times weak in Fighting attacks. Even with its high defense, a fighting move from a similarly leveled Pokemon could take it down in one hit. But despite that weakness, it is worth your time to go after.
