Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC Will Receive Epilogue In January

After two successful DLC releases, trainers' adventures in the world of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will soon be coming to an end. While this has been rather unceremonious in previous generations, it was revealed on Twitter that Game Freak is releasing an epilogue for these two games as a final farewell.

This epilogue is titled The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero and will arrive on January 11, 2024, at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. The epilogue will take place in Kitakami and will feature supporting cast members such as Arven, Penny, and Nemona. Kitakami, for those yet to play through the DLC, is the key location of the first DLC update, The Teal Mask.

Not much else is known about the epilogue at this time aside from data-mined content, but to access it, players will need to have completed the main Pokemon Scarlet and Violet story and both DLC stories (The Teal Mask & The Indigo Disk) as well.
