Nintendo has officially launched the latest DLC expansion for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Teal Mask, now available for the Nintendo Switch as of 13th September 2023.

During the latest Nintendo Direct livestream, a new trailer for the upcoming DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, premiered. However, the release dates for its two expansions have yet to be confirmed.

The brand-new DLC for Pokémon Scarlet has been announced as "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero!" Part 1: The Teal Mask will be released in Fall 2023, and Part 2: The Indigo Disk will be released in Winter 2023. By purchasing these before October 2023, players will receive a free Hisuian Zoroark!
We will likely see a DLC reveal for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, possibly via an Expansion Pass, before mid-2023. We suspect the DLC will take place in the Northeastern part of the Paldea region, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.

According to the official game listing on the Nintendo eShop, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will launch in two stages featuring each of its expansions. The first expansion, The Teal Mask, is slated for release in Fall 2023, with The Indigo Mask still on track for a Winter 2023 release.
The Teal Mask follows your character aboard a school trip to Kitakami, where you'll encounter new Pokémon as you investigate the mysteries surrounding the area's folklore. The Indigo Mask continues the story as you become an exchange student at the prestigious Blueberry Academy and have to adjust to the school's unusual location and curriculum.
Pokémon Scarlet And Violet DLC: All New Pokémon
The official Pokémon Scarlet and Violet website has detailed that over 230 Pokémon that previously weren't featured in Scarlet and Violet will be added in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. In addition, three Pokémon native to Kitakami will make their debut specifically for The Teal Mask expansion arriving this Fall.
Citied as protectors of the land throughout its history, it's likely you will encounter them in some form during The Teal Mask's story. Below is our updated list of all new and returning Pokémon coming to the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero:

We also have word of a third legendary Pokémon, as is the tradition in Pokémon games. This third legendary Pokémon is said to be the cause of the Terastal mechanic across the Paldea region, detailed in an image supplied.
