How To Evolve Charjabug In The Teal Mask In Scarlet And Violet
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there were many Pokemon that could not initially launch with the games. However, that has changed with The Teal Mask DLC that has been released. The Vikavolt line of Pokemon is now available and has a new evolution method that was put in place. In previous generations, Charjabug needed to level up next to an Electric Rock to evolve into a Vikavolt. But there are no Electric Rocks in Scarlet and Violet.
So how are players supposed to evolve Charjabug into a Vikavolt in Scarlet and Violet? Thankfully, the solution is much simpler than one might expect. To evolve Charjabug into a Vikavolt, players need to use a Thunder Stone to do so. There are no special conditions that need to be met other than getting a Thunder Stone.
How To Catch A Vikavolt In The Teal Mask In Scarlet And Violet
One thing that Scarlet and Violet do well is to make sure a large majority of Pokemon are actually catchable rather than simply restricting them to just being evolutions. Players can indeed catch Vikavolt if they want to skip the evolution process. To do so, players should head to Oni Mountain Summit to catch Vikavolt.
Going to Oni Mountain Summit is not the only way to catch Vikavolt either. Players can also catch Vikavolt through 5-Star Tera Raid Battles as well. Players should be prepared to resist both Electric and Bug-type moves during the Tera Raid battles if they want to defeat Vikavolt. Other than that, players can evolve Grubbin into Charjabug and then Charjabug into Vikavolt.
