It has been nearly a year since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launched. In that year, there have been many events for players to participate in to get new Pokemon and try out difficult raids. Now, players are starting The Teal Mask DLC for the first time, and there is much to review. From new Pokemon to new items, there is a lot of content in this first wave of DLC.

On top of all of the new content that has been added to Scarlet and Violet, there is also a good number of returning content from the older Pokemon games. For example, there are plenty of returning Pokemon to find in The Teal Mask DLC. One of them is a bit unexpected and players will have to work hard to get it. Here, we will go over how to get Hisuian Growlithe in The Teal Mask DLC.

Hisuian Growlithe is an alternate Growlithe form that was introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Only recently could players transfer Pokemon from Arceus to Scarlet and Violet. To get Hisuian Growlithe, you will first need to find the NPC named Perrin.

You will actually meet her very early on in The Teal Mask DLC. When you talk to her, she says that she is a photographer and wants some help. But players will first need to catch 150 Pokemon from the Kitakami Pokedex before she will talk. Once that benchmark has been reached, players can start the mission to get Hisuian Growlithe.

After players get 150 Pokemon, Perrin will first want to battle. After defeating her in a battle, she will ask players to go on a photography survey mission with her. Accept the survey mission and then take 10 pictures of different Pokemon. Then players will encounter Bloodmoon Ursaluna. Defeat and capture Bloodmoon Ursaluna, then there's is only one step left.

Once Bloodmoon Ursaluna has been obtained, players can go talk to Perrin again at the same spot she was originally at. Talk to her, and eventually, she will give players a couple of gifts. The last gift she will give players is the Hisuian Growlithe. The Hisuian Growlithe actually has some pretty good stats so it is a great Pokemon to obtain.
